Goals

This is where I'll keep track of my overall and yearly goals.

Overall

1)  Retire earlier than expected.  My plan is 58.  This is the break even mark where I'll make the same retired (from my pension) or working.

2)  Be able to pay most if not all of my future kid(s)'s college education.  No kids yet, but plan to start having some in the next year or two or three.  I'd like to thank DL for opening my eyes to that possibility and my reason for the name of my blog.  I figured this might be a better avenue than a 529.  I can also grab my Roth IRA contribution (without being taxed) if my taxable account falls short.

3)  Be able to pass The Fund on to my wife and especially my future kid(s) so they won't have to stress about money and maybe future generations can grow it from what I started.

2014
Contribute $3k for my 2013 Roth Ira Account (Have until April 15, 2014) (completed 2/3/14)
Contribute $3k for my wife's Roth Ira Account (Have until April 15, 2014) (completed 2/14/14)
Contribute $6k (avg $500 monthly) into The Fund/Allowance.
Forward 12-month dividend of $500 (from both my Roth, The Fund, Allowance Accounts combined)

2015
Contribute $5.5k for my 2014 Roth Ira Account (Have until April 15, 2015)
Contribute $5.5k for my wife's Roth Ira Account (Have until April 15, 2015)
Contribute $2.5k into 529 Account.

    1. Thanks for stopping by FFJ. I'm a little behind on my goals with my forward 12-month dividend and also slowed on my monthly contribution to the taxable accounts. I have a big change that I will announce next month that will change my goals of this blog.
